Delete your Cuby account
You can delete your Cuby account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. You do not need an account to read this page.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way for us to bring an account back once it is gone. Your logs, streaks, and history go with it.
Option 1: delete it in the app
- Open Cuby and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and its server-side data are removed immediately.
- Delete the app from your device to remove the data stored locally, which is most of it.
Option 2: ask us to delete it
If you have lost access to the app or your device, email contact.aairlabs@gmail.com from the address on your Cuby account with the subject Account deletion request.
Tell us the email address on the account. We may ask you to confirm from that address before we act, so that nobody can delete your account on your behalf.
We complete verified requests within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account record and sign-in credentials.
- Your cloud backup file, if you enabled backup.
- Your onboarding answers.
- Your mood check-ins and craving events.
- Your generated podcast episodes and their transcripts.
- Your push notification tokens, so notifications stop.
- Your referral code and its redemption history.
Health data
Apple Health integration is available on iPhone. You can revoke Cuby's access in your iPhone's health settings, separately from deleting your account. The Android app does not currently connect to Health Connect or Google Fit. Account and cloud-backup deletion applies to both platforms as described above.
Meal photos
When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to our AI provider to estimate what is in it, and the result comes back to your device. We do not keep the image. The photo stays in your device's own storage until you delete it or delete the app.
What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of data survives deletion, either because the law requires it or because it takes time to cycle out of backups.

Your subscription
Deleting your Cuby account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel through the store where you subscribed before deleting your account.
- Google Play: open Google Play subscriptions, select Cuby, and choose Cancel subscription. Use the Google account that purchased the subscription.
- Apple App Store: open Apple subscriptions, select Cuby, and choose Cancel Subscription. Use the Apple Account that purchased the subscription.
