## Requirements

### A Mac that stays awake

macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Keep it plugged in, connected to the internet, and awake while you want eveon Home to work.

### eveon on your phone

Sign in on your iPhone. Your phone approves the Mac connection and is where you review what it finds.

### An eveon Pro account

eveon Home is included with eveon Pro. Pair the Mac using the account with your Pro subscription.

### Your own Anthropic API key

The AI work uses your Anthropic account. Usage is billed separately by Anthropic and is not included in eveon Pro.

## Setup

### 1. Give it a home on your Mac

When the download is available, install eveon Home and open it. Its welcome flow helps you get started; afterwards, it lives quietly in your menu bar.

### 2. Let your phone make the introduction

Start pairing on the Mac to see a six-digit code. On your phone, open eveon → Profile → Connected assistants. Enter the code, review the permissions, and tap Allow.

### 3. Choose what it gets to know

Add your Anthropic API key on the Mac. Connect a supported mailbox and choose the senders to watch. Set your schedule and quiet hours to suit your day.

### 4. Keep what helps. Leave the rest.

Review suggestions in eveon on your phone. Nothing becomes a task or calendar event until you approve it. Pause on the Mac or disconnect from your phone whenever you need to.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I download eveon Home yet?

The public Mac download is coming soon. This page introduces the companion and explains setup. Contact aair Labs if you have a question about availability.

### Do I need a family or a shared circle?

No. eveon Home is for a person as well as a family. Reading the newsletters you care about and surfacing useful information can help even if you have no circle.

### Does my Mac need to stay on?

It needs to be awake and online to check sources and deliver suggestions. You can keep using it as your everyday Mac. If it is asleep or offline, eveon Home cannot check for new information during that time.

### What does it cost?

eveon Home is included with eveon Pro. It also uses your own Anthropic API key, with usage billed separately by Anthropic. Your cost depends on your sources and how often it runs.

### Is all of the AI processing on my Mac?

No. Source connections and scheduling run on your Mac, but relevant text is sent directly to Anthropic using your API key for AI processing. Suggestions travel through eveon’s service so your phone can retrieve and review them.

### Can it change my tasks or send messages?

It can propose items for review, but it cannot independently add, edit, complete or delete your tasks or events, or send messages to other people. You decide what to keep in the phone app.

### Does it read my whole inbox?

You choose which senders it watches. Connecting a mailbox does not grant permission to read every message. Mail access is read-only, and you can pause eveon Home or disconnect it from your phone.

### Where do I enter the pairing code?

In the eveon iPhone app: Profile → Connected assistants. Enter the six digits shown during Mac setup, review the requested permissions, and tap Allow. Pairing approval takes place on your phone, not on this website.
