Privacy Policy

asho ("asho", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI virtual try-on and shopping app. You create a personal try-on model from a photo of yourself, then see clothing from online stores on that model before you buy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the asho Go mobile app (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have. asho is a product of aair Labs.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: your name, email address, and password, or the profile details you share when you sign in with Google.
• Style and body profile: body shape, clothing sizes, fit and style preferences you enter during onboarding or in your profile.
• Photos: the full-body photo you take or upload to create your try-on model, and the product images you select while shopping.
• Communications: messages, feedback, and support requests you send us.

Information we generate for you

• Your AI-generated try-on model and the try-on images produced when you try items on.
• Your saved outfits, wardrobe items, try-on history, and the likes/dislikes you give to looks.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, identifiers, and how you interact with the app.
• Location: only when you enable it, your device location is used to show local weather and styling suggestions.
• Diagnostics: crash reports, performance data, and IP address, used to keep the app working and secure.

Purchases

When you subscribe or buy credits, your purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and transaction identifiers. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

2. Your photos and AI processing

Creating your try-on model and generating try-on images requires processing your photos. To do this, your full-body photo and the product images you choose are sent to our AI service providers (listed in Section 5), where they are used to remove backgrounds, understand the clothing, and render the final image on your model.

We use your photos and generated images only to provide and improve the try-on experience. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising. When you delete your model or your account, your source photo and generated model are deleted from our systems, subject to the limited retention described in Section 6.

3. How we use your information

• To create your try-on model and generate try-on images.
• To power core features, including the shopping browser, your wardrobe, saved outfits, and history.
• To personalize your experience using your sizes, style preferences, and like/dislike feedback.
• To manage your subscription and virtual credit balance.
• To develop new features, debug, and keep the Services safe and secure.
• To respond to you and send service messages, and, with your consent, occasional product updates.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How we share information

• Service providers that process data on our behalf (see Section 5), under contracts that limit their use of it.
• Online retailers and stores: when you choose to browse or buy, you interact directly with third-party retailer websites inside the app. Your activity on those sites is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Services.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your model, your source photo and generated model are removed. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required.

8. Your rights and choices

• Access and update: view and edit your profile details in the app.
• Delete: delete your model, wardrobe, and your entire account from the app; this removes your associated personal data as described in Section 6.
• Permissions: control camera, photo, and location access from your device settings.
• Marketing: opt out of promotional messages at any time; we will still send essential service messages.
• Regional rights: depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

asho is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
